SI Loft Policies

Age Requirement Policy: Guests of Saratoga Inn must be 21 years or older with a valid identification to reserve and check into a room. Parents are responsible for all minors, and they may not be left unattended at any time.

Alcohol Policy: Afternoon wine is restricted to guests who are 21 years and older with valid identification. Outside guests and visitors are not allowed to partake in breakfast or teatime, unless prior approval has been granted by owner/manager and fees have been paid.

Breakfast and Teatime: May be included for an additional charge.

Cancellation Policy: Our standard cancellation policy is 10 days prior to the event date based on one night’s stay. Special events such as DjangoFest and Mystery Weekend are a 60-day cancellation period and deposits will be required. “No Shows” or shortening of stays beyond the cancellation date will be charged for each night reserved plus room taxes.

Check In Policy: Check-in time is at 3 pm at Saratoga Inn located at 201 Cascade Avenue, Langley, WA 98260.  The front desk agent will give your keys and directions to the Lofts. The front desk at Saratoga Inn closes anytime after 6 pm. Late arrivals after 6 pm need to call the Inn at 360.221.5801 or 360.321.0299 for entry instructions and a passcode.

Check Out Policy: Check out time is no later than 12 pm noon. No late check out if other guests are checking in that same day. The Lofts require housekeepers to transport supplies, travel time, and extra cleaning in a limited timeframe to get it ready by 3 pm. Please return your keys to the Inn’s front desk located at 201 Cascade Avenue between 8:00 am to 12 pm or if you are an early departure, please call front desk for instructions on returning keys. Unreturned or lost keys will be a charge of $50 fee per set.

Credit/Debit Card Policy: Debit and credit cards are swiped at check-in to authorize a hold for the amount of your stay plus incidentals. The funds will be held until check-out, or payment can be made to expedite the check-out process. Authorized debit card amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by the bank or financial institution and Saratoga Inn is not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.

Discount Policy: Discounts may be available during off-season, mid-October through end of May,  or mid-week occupancies. Only one discount may be applied per booking.

Housekeeping/Cleaning Room Policy: Housekeeping is provided every 4th day of your stay by appointment only for guests staying a minimum of 7 days between hours of 12 pm to 2 pm. Please make an appointment with the Front Desk at 360.221.5801 before 6 pm the day before. If housekeeping is not desired, please put your privacy sign out. A $300 cleaning fee may be charged if smoking, illegal drug use, unusual odors, stains or damage occurs within your guestroom.  Out of courtesy for other guests staying at the Lofts, please do not spray or use fragrances, colognes or scented candles on any bedding, furnishings or surfaces. Lighted candles or hazardous items are not permitted in any guestrooms.

Lost & Found Policy: Housekeepers deliver forgotten items to the front desk immediately. Items are labeled and the guest is called as soon as possible Forgotten items can be returned by USPS, howver, there will be a postage and handling fee (packaging and trip to Post Office) that will be charged to your credit card on file. There are more than 350 items left behind each year.

Minimum Night Stay Policy: A 3-night minimum throughout the year. Housekeeping service is offered every 4th day by appointment only.  See Housekeeping Policy for details.

Occupancy Policy: Loft 2 or 3 rates include one or two guests. For additional guests (maximum 4) of any age, please add $25 per night per person.

Pet Policy: A well-trained, non-shedding dog under 40 lbs is welcome at Lofts for an additional charge of $50 per stay. Prior approval must be granted by owner/manager. Please do not leave your dog unattended at any time during your stay for the safety of your dog and our staff. If any unusual stains, odors or damage occurs, an additional $300 cleaning fee may be charged.

Privacy Policy: Saratoga Inn collects emails to respond to your reservation requests. We may use these emails to correspond with you, give updates, or offer specials to our “Repeat Guests.” We do not sell or share information we have gathered about our guests with any other company or person for any purpose.

Right to Refuse Service Policy: Saratoga Inn reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who does not conform to the Inn’s policies. Out of respect for all guests, quiet hours are requested between 10 pm and 8 am. Civil conduct and respect for other guests is required of each guest.

The Inn will report suspected illegal activity to the appropriate authorities and reserves the right to refuse service to anyone suspected of involvement in such activity. The Inn reserves the right to enter any area of the Inn, including guestrooms, should there be a reason for suspicion of illegal activity, or if there is reason to believe that property, staff, or other guests are at risk.

Smoking Policy: The Inn is 100% smoke-free, illegal drug-free facility. A $300 per day additional cleaning fee will be charged to the guest’s account should any kind of smoking, illegal activity, unusual cleaning or odors occurring inside the Inn. Smoking is prohibited by law within 50 feet of the Inn.
